The way-back machine

I can't figure out how to edit digital sound recordings. If I had a Mac, I could probably use that durn Garage Band thingy, couldnt I? Anyway, due to my technological impotence, I'm providing you with a short transcript of a recording my sister and I made back in, oh, 1997 or so. It's only a little less hilarious than the actual recording.

Here's the backstory. Rachel sent me a package containing cookies, which I was expecting, and a CD, which I was not expecting. She wrote that she had been looking through her cassette tapes and found a recording we made years ago for a radio show we called WIMN (Wacky Is My Name). The subject matter of this particular broadcast was grandparents. Rachel is the radio host, and I'm playing Sweetie Sugar, a doting grandmother.

R: I see you care about your children, I mean your grandchildren. What about your children children?
H: What about them?
R: Do you love them as much as your grandchildren?
H: Oh no, grandchildren are so much sweeter. I also have so many more to spoil. I have twenty-three grandchildren.
R: Oh. How many boys and how many girls?
H: Twenty-one boys and two girls.
R: Which do you like better, the boys or the girls?
H: You mean the boys or the girl.
R: What do you mean, the boys or the girl? You said there were two girls.
H: Of course there are two girls, but one girl is actually--well, don't tell anyone this, I don't want to spread gossip around, but she's actually a white rabbit that was changed into a girl.
R: Oh. Then which do you like better, the boys or the girl?
H: The white rabbit. Yup. Well, I best be going now, because I have to feed the rabbit.
